The Wednesday afternoon movie was Napoleon Dynamite.  Since playing it in mid-spring, Ive had several requests to play it again. So Wednesday's movie was... you guessed it...Napleon himself. Complete with sweet action and nerdy romance this movie is a strangly funny film that teens seem to 'get'.

Wednesday's movie was an anime feature called Princess Mononoke, and it was pretty graphic. It was rated PG-13 but even still I think there were some scenes that were pretty bloody and gorey even if they were in anime. It was definitely for a 13 and older crowd.

If you haven't seen the new teen space at the Clovis Library, you are in for a treat. We have moved everything in the library and now have alot more room for teens. Check out the Science Fiction/Fantasy section. We will be adding a game manual section too. Our theme chosen by you will be beach so be looking for the new look in the space just for you.

KNITTING!

Knitting is the hottest growing hobby among teens and young women and Clovis has it going on! February is the month Teen Knitting starts so come learn how and start those spring projects!

Knitting Club meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month February through May at 3pm. Any questions, please call Rochelle at 299-9531.

Want to get your PSAT scores up? Practice makes perfect and Clovis Library is helping out. Kaplans is coming out to the library to give the practice test for the new PSAT plus a follow-up seminar on the following Saturday. Both programs start at 1 pm and are free. Take advantage and get ahead!

January has been chock full of Teen events! The craft program was held on 1/11/05. Around 15  teens make hemp bracelets and polished stone necklaces. The hemp friendship bracelets were much easier since the polished stone made putting on the wire alittle hard!  Be on the look out for our next teen program Rock n Rollover Dead!
